Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Successful offeror shall provide emergency snow plowing and spreading of ice melt upon request for any emergency snow and/or ice condition needs with a guarantee response time not to exceed 2 hours. 2. The successful offeror must have a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in the local area performing work of a similar nature for properties of similar size. 3. Upon request from TNCC, the successful offeror shall provide a truck with a mechanical spreader and operator to treat ice in parking lots and roadways. The mechanical spreader must be capable of holding a minimum of 250 lbs. of ice melt product and be capable of spreading material up to 30’ wide on one path. 4. Upon request from TNCC, the successful offeror shall provide ice melt product to treat and prevent ice. Ice melt containing rock salt (Sodium Chloride) or Urea is not approved for application to TNCC properties. All ice melt products utilized to treat ice and snow must be approved in advance and documentation of ice melt product ingredients and qualities used for each event will be required. 5. Upon request from TNCC, the successful offeror shall provide a four wheel drive heavy duty pick‐up truck with a front mounted snow plow and operator. The truck shall be ¾ ton or larger and the front mounted plow shall be a minimum of 7’ wide and fully adjustable and controlled by the operator from the cab of the truck.
