I. Software/Hardware for the Emergency Notifications should include the following features: Accept automated data exports from division’s that includes remote enrollments at Smyth Career and Technology Center, if necessary Role-based customization of alerts Geo-targeting that sends location specific alerts based on where the alert is triggered Immediate delivery of emergency notifications with minimal latency even in areas with limited WiFi or cellular coverage FERPA & COPPA Compliant, if necessary, startup System would need to integrate with emergency management services so that a critical event could be escalated by the appropriate staff Any mobile notification alerts must be compatible with both iPhones or Androids Device compatibility is required, particularly with Chromebooks and other commonly used hardware. System needs to include a mobile panic button option Accountability and Reunification management during an active event are preferred Cloud infrastructure is a required component of the solution. II. Software Support – Software will be installed, if necessary, on all machines and be working at the time of initial startup Any mobile notification alerts must be compatible with both iPhones or Androids III.
