The Contractor shall provide on-call, towing services (staged) during the flooding of Rt. 58 at the intersection of Rt. 501 in Riverdale to clear roadways of vehicles (i.e. stalled, abandoned, stuck etc.) for the VDOT Halifax Residency. Services are primarily to assist and/or move vehicles that are stuck or otherwise impeding the flow of traffic along the detour route during flood events to the safe location at the Salt Dome lot, located at 2068 Piney Grove Road, Alton, VA 24520, or off the travel portion of the roadway. The detour route includes the following roads: • Alphonse Dairy Road (Route 742) • Ponderosa Road (Route 743) • East Hyco Road (Route 744) • Huell Matthews Highway (Route 501) • Cluster Springs Road (Route 658) • Cedar Grove Road (Route 708) • Turbeville Road (Route 658) • Philpott Road (Route 58) • Bill Tuck Highway (Route 58)
