Purpose The purpose of this Request for Quote, RFQ#405400, is to solicit sealed bids to establish a contract through competitive bidding for an Eaton Motor Control Center (MCC). II. SCOPE OF WORK/DESCRIPTION OF ITEMS A. Scope of Work/Description of Items The successful Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials, and supervision required an Eaton Motor Control Center (MCC) for the Electrical & Energy Management located at 645 Firefall Drive, Virginia Beach, VA 23454 in accordance with the attached specifications. III. PRE-BID CONFERENCE/INSPECTION OF JOBSITE A. Pre-Bid conference/Inspection of Jobsite A pre-bid conference/inspection of job site is not a requirement for this Request for Quote. B. On-Site COVID Meeting Requirements HRSD has taken extra efforts to ensure all Solicitations have as much information available as possible for potential Bidders/Offerors, including drawings and pictures where applicable. Depending on the complexity and technical nature of each Solicitation, we will determine the best course for viewing the site and gathering needed clarifications through Q&A via ERP or other electronic means. Should onsite meetings be necessary, all Suppliers and Contractors are being asked to do their part and PLEASE do the following: 1. Review ALL bid documents and attachments PRIOR to attending a meeting to be prepared as much as necessary. 2. Ask any questions via email or through the HRSD ERP system before the meeting – after reviewing all bid documents and attachments. 3. Limit representation to one member of your organization for onsite meetings. 4. Follow all CDC recommendations for fully vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals for social distancing, hygiene, and PPE. 5. Not attend if not feeling well, have any COVID-19 symptoms, or have been in close contact with someone who has COVID-19 or any COVID-19 symptoms. 6. Fully vaccinated and unvaccinated company representatives that are, COVID-19 symptom free may enter HRSD property but must continue to wear a mask and are required to maintain social distance.
