Specifications include, but are not limited to: FiberLync is seeking proposals related to professional fiber optic design and construction management services to assist with various potential projects. Tasks may include but are not limited to: Project Management The offeror selected will be required to provide a dedicated onsite Project Manager (or resident engineer) for the entire duration of each potential project. It will be up to the Project Manager to keep the project on schedule and meet the required deadlines. In addition to other duties, the Project Manager will be required to submit weekly progress reports to the FiberLync Program Manager updating current work activities and the overall project schedule. Project Schedule Requirements The Project Manager must ensure the contractor(s) are completing and turning over areas to FiberLync for cutover in a timely manner. Design The design for each potential project must be completed prior to any working being released to a contractor(s) for construction. Most designs will be either fiber to the premise (FTTP) and/or middle mile design. If FiberLync has existing conduit and fiber facilities in surrounding areas, they will need to be considered and utilized during the design process. The Offeror will utilize a centralized split architecture for a Passive Optical Network (PON) design. Responsibilities FiberLync will be responsible for 1. Identifying and prioritizing the geographic areas throughout the duration of each potential project, 2. Providing as built records and mapping information for existing facilities in the work area, 3. Assisting the Offeror(s) with developing an overall design plan that considers existing fiber facilities
