Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Contractor shall provide durable medical equipment, respiratory treatment equipment, home medical supplies and related supplies and services to SBVCC. 2. Contractor shall agree to comply with all applicable state and federal regulations as it applies to providing durable medical equipment and/or related services. 3. Contractor shall participate in performance improvement (PI) initiatives to evaluate the outcome of durable medical equipment/respiratory treatment equipment product/services for residents discharged from various hospitals as well as the effectiveness of the referral process. 4 Contractor shall facilitate with the Central Supply department of SBVCC on appropriate par level inventory of items periodically. 5. Contractor shall make arrangements with alternate providers of durable medical equipment/respiratory treatment equipment when Contractor is unable to provide it from their own inventory. 6. Contractor shall assist SBVCC staff by training, coordination, installation and/or implementation of setup correlating to durable medical equipment/respiratory treatment equipment and/or medical supplies when needed. 7. Contractor shall maintain a stock of standard durable medical equipment/respiratory treatment equipment and consumables to facilitate delivery to the SBVCC bedside (if applicable) of the following standard durable medical equipment items within two (2) hours: a. E-Tanks b. E-Tank Cards c. Nebulizer d. 02 Concentrators (including ten (10) liter upon request) e. O2 regulators f. CPAP (with masks) g. Humidifier h. Volume humidifier bottle i. Suction pumps j. Suction canister k. BiPap (with headgear or masks) l. Trach compressor and all trach supplies m. Trach tubing n. H-Tanks o. M-Tanks p. Seven (7) foot nasal cannulas with EZ wraps q. Seven (7) foot oxygen tubing r. Fourteen (14) foot oxygen tubing s. Twenty five (25) foot oxygen tubing t. Y connectors u. Humidifier adapter tubes v. Christmas trees w. Contractor will provide loaner equipment at no charge for any durable medical equipment while it is being modified or repaired. 9. Contractor will provide at least one (1) visit monthly to the patient by an equipment supply technician to assess the patients’ respiratory status and to maintain the equipment. The Contractor will provide to the patient a respiratory therapist per PRN.
