The Contractor shall furnish and deliver Dragnet® Truck Arrestor System component parts assemblies (metal tape for energy absorbers, net assemblies and associated net station replacement hardware, etc.) All materials shall be new condition and shall be genuine parts manufactured to be specifically compatible with the Dragnet® Truck Arrestor System. The Dragnet Truck Arrestor System is patented and manufactured by Cushion & Barrier, LLC. VDOT in its sole discretion shall determine whether the equipment offered by Bidders is considered equivalent to that named herein. a) Quantity – 2 complete sets comprising of: Complete Lead Net Station Assemblies @ 160 ½” cable length Each Net Station includes the following: 4 tapes only at 75’ 20 roller pins, with nuts 4 pcs turnbuckle cable hardware 12 pcs of Grade 5 bracket bolts/nuts 4 sets Load failure tabs b) Quantity – 4 complete sets comprising of: Complete Truck Net Station Assemblies @ 160 ½” cable length Each Net station includes the following: 6 tapes only at 200’ 30 roller pins, with nuts 4 pcs turnbuckle cable hardware 18 pcs of Grade 5 bracket bolts/nuts 6 sets Load failure tabs
