Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Virginia Community College System (also referred to as VCCS or issuing agency) is issuingthis Request for Proposals to solicit offers from vendors interested in providing a DecisionSupport System (DSS) to interact with an Oracle Peoplesoft CS/HR and AIS systems, as well asother enterprise or centrally hosted applications. The DSS should include a Data Warehouse andReporting System and is expected to enhance the data and analytics support for decision-makingfor all functional areas within 23 colleges and the system office. The VCCS is eager to enhancecollege productivity and efficiency using data to enhance our ability, and to meet the goals ofAchieve 2015. The intention is to use this system as the source for campus reporting needs.Various campus constituencies currently have access to a reporting environment based on queryinstances of the database and outside analytics and reporting solutions.
