Specifications include, but are not limited to: i. The Contractor shall provide the following services to the City on an as-needed basis: a. Creation of customized decals. b. Application of designs already developed for and/or used by NPD and NSO. c. Installation of new decals on NPD and NSO vehicles (full or partial set of decals). d. Removal, replacement, or repair of peeling or fading decals. e. Door wraps shall be pre-cut, no trimming allowed on painted surface of vehicle. f. All wrap and decal edges must be heated and sealed. g. Disassembly of decals on door skins before installing wraps. ii. All decals must be 3M 5100R with 3M 8518 Laminate, no exceptions shall be accepted. iii. All decals must be printed using at least a 4-color print system. Dot printing will not be accepted. iv. All decals must be printed with ink cartridges that are manufactured by the same company as the printer being used to print decals. (i.e. HP ink with an HP printer). No third-party ink shall be accepted. v. All decals must be printed on engineer grade reflective material or an equivalent that meets the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) standards.
