Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Contractor shall provide all necessary labor, supervision, equipment, tools, fuel, supplies, traffic control, and incidentals, to remove vegetative (woody) debris from VDOT rights-of-way, generated by snow storms, ice storms, tornadoes, floods, or any qualifying event as designated by VDOT and consisting of: fallen trees, limbs, logs, damaged standing trees, hanging limbs, stumps, and root balls (of all sizes). The debris will have been cleared from the traveled roadway and left in the ditch and along the slopes. The Contractor shall collect and deliver all debris to identified storage sites. Once collected, all woody debris shall be processed (reduced) and properly disposed, in accordance with specifications set forth in this contract. The Contractor shall be responsible for determining the method and manner of debris collection/reduction operations, to compete the work in the required time frame, and consistent with this Scope of Work.
