The data collected by the Virginia Department of Education is for the purpose of federal reporting and the state evaluation as required by law. Grantees must input the following data for each participant: student Id, grade level, students’ teachers name and work email address, types of activities, program staff members names, as well as adult and student participation. Grantees must enter prior and current GPA for select grade levels. The VDOE will upload demographic information as well as the following outcome data: reading and math state assessment, school day attendance, and in-school suspensions. The outcomes are calculated by the VDOE using the 21st CCLC application in SSWS. Additional information, such as participant contact information, can be entered at the discretion of the grantee.
