a. The facilities shall be geographically located within the City of Richmond, City of Norfolk, City of Manassas, or the City of Roanoke or within a fifteen (15) mile radius of the Department of Forensic Science Laboratory Locations listed in Section 2, Background. B. TRAINING COURSE a. The DFS Contract Administrator will contact the Contractor to schedule the date of the training course. b. The Contractor shall provide a two-hour basic firearms safety training course at the Contractor’s site. i. Course topics shall include basic handgun fundamentals, understanding semi-automatics, revolvers and modern striker-fired handguns, as well as defensive shooting fundamentals, grip, target alignment and trigger control. ii. Course shall include live fire range time. iii. One hour of the course shall be classroom instruction and the remaining hour shall be live fire range time. C. TRAINING MATERIALS a. The Contractor shall include pricing of 25 rounds of 9mm ammunition in Attachment A, Pricing Schedule. b.
