Amendment 1: the purpose of this amendment to the RFQ is to post the Q&As, as an attachment is SAM.gov, from the various vendors for all interested vendors to read over. Also, this amendment is to correct Page 47 on the RFQ which had the incorrect due in date for quotes. The due in date for quotes is 5 July 2024 by 3PM EST.
DEA is looking to purchase a 5 year contract for services for maintenance and repairs of their fitness equipment within the Employee Fitness Center in Arlington, VA with the contract starting 15 August, 2024. All Fitness Center Equipment is to receive OEM recommended preventative maintenance on at least one instance per month, but the vendor may visit the site more than one day per month. Work hours are to be during weekdays Monday through Friday (excluding Federal holidays) from 9:00am to 11:00am (2 hours availability per visit). It shall be up to the Contractor to determine the most efficient manner in which to
accomplish this work. In addition, the Contractor shall respond to calls for repair of broken or out-of-service equipment within 72 hours of notification from the Government. The initial response for repairs will be at no additional charge to the Government. However, costs for indicated repairs or replacement will be quoted separately for approval by the Government before any repair or replacement is performed (see “EQUIPMENT REPAIR”).
