The Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, transportation, equipment, supplies, and material necessary to collect and dispose of refuse non-hazardous waste or infectious material content from the designated site. 2. The Contractor shall provide containers and dispose of the refuse therein in a manner approved by the Commonwealth of Virginia, Department of Health, Department of Waste Management, and all applicable Federal, State and Local laws. 3. All refuse removed shall be disposed of in a state approved sanitary landfill. The Contractor shall provide evidence the landfill has been approved by the Virginia Department of Health and/or the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality. 4. The Contractor shall provide suitable containers designed for heavy trash service. The containers shall be designed to provide rodent-proof, animal-proof, and wind-proof storage of items. The Commonwealth prefers the use of containers with plastic latch able lids. 5. The Contractor shall be responsible for the maintenance and repair of the metal container placed in compliance with this contract. The container shall be maintained in a constant state of repair, preservation, and neat appearance. In addition, the contractor shall respond within eight (8) hours to all repair and/or service calls and shall replace any component of the container that requires repeated maintenance/repair service.
