• Remove floor mounted fixtures, appliances, bathroom stall dividers, and trim in all restrooms, showers and laundry facilities in both campground comfort stations (see II. A. Site Definitions below). o Any adhesive or caulk from trim shall be removed and resulting wall paint defects fixed with paint color provided by designated Virginia State Parks staff. • Strip current floor coatings from concrete floor. • Ensure floor is flat, and free of cracks and pits. • Correct any corrosion found on door frames leading into bathroom or shower spaces. o Remove rust and prep surface with a rust-converting primer. o Paint to match existing using paint color provided by designated Virginia State Parks Staff. • Prepare and refinish concrete floor with a polyaspartic floor coating. o Preparation: concrete floor shall be prepared for new finish following all manufacturer’s guidelines to ensure validity of product warranty, including but not limited to guidelines for substrate temperature and moisture content. o Floor-Wall Seam: Epoxy finish shall seamlessly extend minimum 5 inches up each wall in lieu of trim (cove base). See Attachment G: “Seamless Wall Application Reference Image”. o Finish Color: coating shall have a gray base color with blue, gray and white flakes, or a colorway approved by Virginia State Parks staff. o Dimensions: coating shall achieve a thickness of 100 mils (3/32-inch), and flake material shall be 1/16-inch per flake. o Texture: coating shall incorporate or be finished with a texture in addition to the flake that achieves traction suitable for wet locations. This texture shall be incorporated in a manner consistent with the coating manufacturer’s guidelines to ensure validity of product warranty. • Reinstall all fixtures and appliances that were removed. o Any fixtures or appliances damaged in the removal shall be replaced with like kind replacements.
