Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Lot Definitions and exclusive specifications: 1. Mandatory Bid Fields – Dedicated and Non-dedicated Areas a) Fields 1-6 on the map - 42.9 total acres b) Fields 7-24 on the map - 182.44 total acres B. General Contract Requirements (applies to all acreage in the specifications): 1. The Contract shall bushhog the fields beginning 10/15/2024 – 11/15/2024 firm to not disturb the breeding and nesting periods of the bobwhite quail in preparation for the haying contract to begin from January 1, 2025. 2. All fields shall be kept free of litter, including but not limited to inoperable equipment. 3. The Contractor shall coordinate all bushhogging activities with designated park staff to avoid conflict with routine park operations or special park projects. The Commonwealth will make every attempt to provide reasonable notice to the Contractor of any scheduled special events. 4. The Contractor shall agree upon award to provide the Commonwealth of Virginia with a copy of their current certificate of insurance and any required operation licensure. 5. The Certifications, licenses and/or permits shall be valid for the period of application and available for inspection upon request by Park Manager or Designee
