Specifications include, but are not limited to: unarmed security guard services at the Authority’s six terminals. The Authority is seeking a qualified contractor with demonstrated experience in providing high-quality security services, twenty-four (24) hours a day, three hundred and sixty-five (365) days a year, per the terms and conditions of this RFP. Security services shall be performed in a manner that will ensure compliance with the Maritime Transportation Security Act (“MTSA”) and the Authority’s values, missions, rules, regulations, and directives. ; s. This service will be continuous regardless of weather, holidays, disasters, protests, strikes, or threatened strikes, and shall include, but not be limited to, the following: i. Administering the Authority's Site(s) security procedures. ii. Access control of persons, vehicles, and other property entering Authority facilities. iii. Credentialing operations. iv. Assisting colleagues, truck drivers, vendors, visitors, and contractors. v. Transportation of vessel crew and pilots. vi. Site surveillance (by foot, vehicle, and/or camera as procedures and circumstances require). vii. Identifying and reporting transportation security incidents, security breaches, crime, security and safety violations, threats, suspicious behavior and circumstances, and discrepancies to the Authority. viii. Securing property turned in as found. ix. Maintaining files for security-related documents. x. Assisting Authority personnel in emergency and non-emergency situations
