Pressure Washing: o Thorough pressure washing of all existing wooden playground equipment, including but not limited to: slides, swings, climbers, platforms, and any other wooden components. o Thorough pressure washing of all existing wooden fencing surrounding the playground area. o Removal of dirt, grime, mildew, algae, loose paint, and any other surface contaminants. o Careful execution to avoid damage to the wood or surrounding park areas. 2. Staining: Application of a high-quality, weather-resistant wood stain to all previously pressure-washed wooden playground equipment and fencing. The stain color shall be approved by the Town of Richlands. Samples may be requested. Application shall ensure coverage and penetration, protecting the wood from UV damage, moisture, and rot. All necessary preparation work (e.g., light sanding of rough spots if required after washing) is to be included.
