The Project includes a grade separated barbell interchange at the existing Route 690 (Hillsboro Road) overpass over the Route 7 bypass. This will consist of a new Route 690 bridge with 2 (two) roundabouts on either side, on and off ramps from Route 7, widening of Route 7 and its two (2) bridges over Catoctin Creek, and two (2) stormwater facilities. The general scope of work includes, but is not limited to, all surveying, construction layout, maintenance of traffic, earthwork (including the removal of unsuitable material), rock excavation, erosion & sediment control, other environmental controls, safety procedures and complete compliance with all applicable permits, to include but not be limited to, Virginia Stormwater Management Program (VSMP)/ Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) requirements, building trade permits and environmental permits.
