1. The Offeror shall be capable of serving the conference participants, including adequate lighting, ventilation, seating and easily accessible restrooms. 2. The conference facility shall provide acceptable accommodations for the physically challenged, in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and § 51.5- 1 of the Code of Virginia, "The Virginians with Disabilities Act". (See General Terms and Conditions, “Anti-Discrimination,” of this RFP). All facilities, including the surrounding common areas and restrooms, shall be available, and in useable, adequately prepared condition for ELECT staff from arrival until departure, including staff members with special medical or handicapped/disability needs. 3. All fully attended sessions and meals are required to have the American and the Virginia state flags stationary for those rooms. 4. The facility shall be free from unnecessary distractions or disruptions. The facility shall include the following spaces: • Space for approximately 275 reception seating at VEW (1st conference space) • Space for approximately 100 reception seating at Bootcamp (2nd conference space) 5. All public areas of the facility and all meeting areas and lodging rooms shall be nonsmoking areas. A spacious hallway shall be available for up to 10 vendors booths during the conference. 6. The conference facility shall include private, secure wireless high-speed Internet access dedicated to the meeting space in the facility during the conference. Private means the wireless network is not shared by people/devices unaffiliated with the training conference.
