Specifications include, but are not limited to: The intent and purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to solicit sealed proposals from qualified firms within the Richmond, Norfolk and Northern VA area to establish a one-year contract with a single contractor for conference, Vendor/Exhibitor facilities, overnight lodging, Audio/Visual equipment and meals for approximately 300 to 400 participants. The conference facility will be used by the Commonwealth of Virginia, Department of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS) Division of Law Enforcement & Security Services to host the 2014 National K-12 Threat Assessment Conference. One (1) renewal option for one (1) additional conference in 2015 will be part of the resulting contract (reference Attachment 1: Special Terms and Conditions)
