The selected consultant will work with Harrisonburg Economic Development staff throughout the process. Services will be delivered virtually. The selected consultant will deliver comprehensive technical assistance services that may include, but are not limited to: 1. Business Plan Development: • Assist entrepreneurs in crafting detailed, actionable plans. • Offer guidance on market analysis, financial projections, and strategic planning. 2. Financial Management: • Provide training on budgeting, cash flow management, financial projections, and financial reporting. • Assist in identifying strategies and structures to improve and enhance financial records management. • Analyze options for accessing capital. • Teaching the components for financial literacy 3. Marketing and Sales Strategies: • Develop effective marketing plans tailored to specific business needs. • Offer strategies for digital marketing, social media, and SEO optimization. • Offer strategies for business development, and sales growth. • Analyze options for partnering with other businesses and organizations. 4. Operational Efficiency: • Advise on improving operational workflows and business processes. • Offer guidance on utilizing technology to enhance productivity and efficiency. 5. Legal and Compliance: • Provide information on regulatory compliance, and business licensing. • Assist with legal considerations such as contracts, intellectual property, and employment law. 6. Workshops and Training: • Conduct workshops and training sessions on various aspects of business management. • Provide one-on-one mentoring and coaching to entrepreneurs.
