The Contractor shall furnish all supervision, labor, equipment, fuel, and signage as required to minimize interruptions to patients and staff. The vendor will be allowed to connect to the Eastern State Hospital water supply. The initial project of work shall consist of washing the exterior walls from the roof to the ground, excluding the roof surfaces, but including courtyard walls, and building dormers. Detergents used should be environmentally sensitive, and products used on windows should minimize streaking. The Contractor shall complete work provided under this solicitation no later than April 30, 2025. The Contractor shall complete the work as identified by the Contract Administrator(s) and shall be responsible to mobilize the proper resources to accomplish the work within five business days of beginning, weather permitting. Work Hours: All work shall be performed during business days (Monday through Friday), excluding observed Virginia state holidays, from 8:00 AM through 4:00 PM Local Time unless otherwise approved by the Contract Administrator. Cleanup/Disposal: All debris generated in the performance of this contract is the responsibility of the Contractor and shall be removed from the right-of-way each day and properly disposed of by Contractor, unless otherwise allowed by the Contract Administrator. Efforts should be taken to minimize potential interruptions to patients, and coordination and scheduling with the Contract Administrator will be required as access will need to be provided to patient areas. Debris shall be kept off the traveled portions and shoulders of the roadway, as work progresses. There shall be no storage of vehicles, equipment, or materials at the facility without specific written permission from the Contract Administrator.
