The Work consists of providing approximately 1,050 linear feet of 12-inch water main, 20 linear feet of 8- inch water main and 240 linear feet of 6-inch water main, including associated interconnections, 109 new meter assemblies and new service line installations to transfer water service to one of the new water mains or to an alternate existing water main, all associated appurtenances, and all associated clearing and grubbing, erosion control, and surface restoration. Of the 109 new service line installations, 91 will require plumbing to be adjusted at the residence to “turn” the service from the back of the property to the new meter location at the front of the property. The Work also includes the abandonment of existing waterlines once the new meters and service lines are installed and service is transferred from the water main identified to be abandoned.
