Approximately 3,250 Plaque Boards; order may increase or decrease depending upon number of awards earned during remainder of the year. General Description: The plaque board shall be 13.0 inches long x 10.5 inches tall but may be slightly larger with a dark cherry finish (color to match sample provided by Marine Resources Commission). The back shall feature (1) keyhole slot at the top allowing the plaque board to be hung on a wall. *The plaque board is laminated wood with a dark cherry finish. Each plaque board shall come with an attached, rectangular gold frame that accepts documents measuring 8.5 inches x 11 inches. The frame is to be fully assembled on the plaque board with one side open (top opening, lengthwise) for the easy insertion of the document. No tacks, staples or nails shall be utilitized, so there will be no alignment or damage problems from the use of tacks, etc. Gold frame must be properly centered upon board and must be uniform and symmetrical in appearance. Behind the laminated front; the space were the certificate is inserted must be free of all debris associated with producing and finishing the plaque board such as dust, particles of laminate, glue, etc. Finished plaque board sample available; finished product shall conform to sample. Each plaque shall be individually bagged for protection in a flat plastic wrap and individually boxed in a cardboard, UPS compatible shipping box which conforms to the sample box provided; (this is the box the sample plaque was mailed in), no substitute box styles permitted. Each shipping box will include an Instruction Sheet on how to insert certificate. Sample attached (Attachment A). Initial shipment of 1,000 plaque boards to occur November 17, 2025. Remaining plaque boards shall be warehoused by the winning bidder and delivered as needed during the months of December - March to the office of the Virginia Saltwater Fishing Tournament, 380 Fenwick Rd., Fort Monroe, VA 23651. Bulk shipments minimums of 1,000 plaque boards guaranteed. Vendor will be supplied with seven (7) business days advance notice of the need for a shipment of plaques and the quantity required.
