The purpose of this Request for Quotes (RFQ) is to solicit quotes to furnish/provide custom cigarette heat tax stamps. The stamps will be sold to businesses that sell cigarettes throughout the City of Newport News as proof of local tax payment. 2.1. Specifications A. Custom 20-cigarette heat tax stamps with taggant and unique numbering. B. Stamp size shall be .46" x .46", with 15,000 stamps per roll and 36 rolls per case. C. Stamp leaders and trailers shall not be taped to the stamp roll. D. Cigarette Tax Stamps shall be uniquely numbered to sell to businesses that sell cigarettes throughout the City of Newport News as proof of local tax payment. E. Contractor will be informed by City of Newport News Commissioner of The Revenue what unique number to start with. F. Contractor shall have satisfactory customer service records verified through 3 reliable references. G. Contractor shall contact the Commissioner of the Revenue within 3 days to follow-up on delivery and quality of the stamps.
