1. The Contractor(s) shall provide all personnel, supplies (ex: utensils, etc.), and equipment applicable to the catering/food services offered; to include a reasonable variety of menu choices (food and beverage). Contractors may propose catering/food services under any single style of service or any combination of styles (e.g. boxed lunches, buffet service, plated dinners, etc.). Some catered events may be theme-oriented, e.g., a Hawaiian theme, where the food served served will need to reflect the theme. 2. The Contractor(s) shall follow the US General Services Administration (GSA) Meals & Incidentals Per Diem Rates (https://www.gsa.gov/travel/plan-book/per-diem-rates) for the area in which the college delivery address is located. Per Diem Rates shall be all inclusive of food and beverages requested, supplies (ex: utensils, etc.), delivery fees, taxes, tip, credit card fees, or any other fees/charges imposed by the Contractor(s). Local taxes and taxes charged for services provided in connection with the furnishing, preparing, or serving of food or meals (i.e. prepared meals tax) are permitted. All other taxes are not allowable as VCCS is a tax-exempt agency. 3. The specific catering requirements will vary depending on the type of meeting, program, or event being planned.
