A. Category 1: Grease Removal Services: Scope – Provide on-site collection, removal, and recycling of used cooking oil and grease generated by food vendors. 1. Provide leak-proof, clearly labeled grease collection containers, pallets, and trays. 2. Each container must have a minimum capacity of 550 gallons and fit within approximately 20' x 40'. 3. Empty containers at the end of each event day, or more frequently as needed, and provide sufficient container capacity for the entire event. 4. Dispose of and recycle collected grease in compliance with all applicable environmental regulations and provide documentation (e.g., manifests, certificates) upon request. 5. Deliver containers no later than two (2) calendar days prior to the event start date and remove all containers and related equipment no later than one (1) calendar day after the event concludes. 6. Support Arlington County’s zero waste goals by using practices that allow collected grease to be processed into environmentally beneficial products (e.g., biodiesel). B. Category 2: Event Electricians and Temporary Power Support: Scope – Provide licensed electricians and, when requested, temporary power distribution for event operations (vendors, stages, lighting, and other infrastructure). 1. All electricians must hold a valid journeyman, master, or contractor electrician license issued by the Commonwealth of Virginia; copies must be provided upon request. 2. Electricians must be available during event setup (typically beginning the Monday before an event), all published event hours, and event breakdown. 3. Provide sufficient staffing to address routine electrical needs and emergencies, including afterhours response.
