To furnish/provide Career Pathways education, mentor, and coaching services using group education and individualized meetings to identify and develop career education plans leading to sustainable employment opportunities upon completion of education/career training program. VIEW participants should: • Be knowledgeable about the various career pathways. • Be able to identify their career pathway interests. • Be able to connect their existing education and work experiences to their career interests. • Develop an education/training plan to obtain workforce credentials that lead to sustainable employment. • Be connected to training and education programs that align with their career pathway interests. Program Managers should: • Be able to review and analyze the data collected about VIEW customer's career pathway interests. • Be able to use data to inform program decision-making related to customer needs, gaps in services, and community resources available. Contractor shall provide the following services, but may not be limited to: A) Complete or coordinate the completion of education related screens, assessments, reassessments, and evaluations in groups or individually with participants prior to the development of the initial service plan and re-occurring, as needed. Assessments to be used will be indicated within the proposal and will measure customer career interests and aptitude. The frequency and mode of group and individual service provision should be outlined within the proposal. B) Develop an individual education/training plan for action in partnership with the ESW, program participants and community partners. The plan shall include how the Offeror will connect the customer to education and identify subsequent career options/employment in the local community. C) Provide remediation and/or connect program participants to remediation supports, as needed to ensure success in the educational program; may include facilitating groups on good study habits, multi-tasking, etc. D) Assist with coordination of education and training-related tasks for VIEW Activity & Service Plan (e.g. secure monthly attendance and enrollment information for customers, make site visits to schools to meet with customers, help to determine how many monthly customers have left to utilize educational components in conjunction with 24-month clock). E) Assist refugee customers who earned degrees in other countries to have transcripts evaluated. F) Develop and present career pathways presentations to individuals and groups of program participants and community partners.
