The Virginia Department of Transportation (herein referred to as “VDOT”) is soliciting bids from qualified firms to furnish four (4) VER-MAC CT2430 or equivalent, Camera Trailers, equipped with telescopic mast that can extend up to 9 meters (30 feet), 30 amp battery charger, 3 solar panels of 85 watts each, tilt (up to 45°) and rotate (360°) or one 255-watt solar panel, Eight (8) deep cycle batteries, possibility to have up to 12 batteries, and Solar regulator to protect the batteries against overcharging, over-discharging or short circuits. SCOPE OF WORK: The Contractor shall furnish and deliver four (4) VER-MAC CT2430 Camera Trailers or equivalent with the following specifications: • Telescopic mast that can extend up to 9 meters (30 feet) • 30 amp battery charger • 3 solar panels of 85 watts each, tilt (up to 45°) and rotate (360°) or one 255-watt solar panel • Eight (8) deep cycle batteries, possibility to have up to 12 batteries • Solar regulator to protect the batteries against overcharging, over-discharging or short circuits
