Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Contractor shall be responsible for providing the functional needs of an answering phone service through one published statewide toll free number to receive calls from various public health constituency groups (not the general public) and route them as applicable to appropriate local or state VDH contact person. This call service shall include the following functions: 1. Potential callers include: - Clinical providers - Hospital, Nursing Home, other medical facility representatives - Police representatives - Fire representatives - HAZMAT representatives - Local government representatives - State agency representatives - Federal agency representatives - Waterworks representatives (Waste water works representatives will continue to be encouraged to contact DEQ and DEQ will call this number if VDH is needed) - Restaurant representatives - Non-governmental organizational officials - VDH staff
