Contractor shall be responsible for providing all labor, materials, and transportation necessary to furnish and deliver the liquid alum (bulk delivery). Fuel charge/fee shall not be allowed. The chemical supplied under the contract shall conform to the specifications of the following standards and all supplemental specifications included herein. If the specifications are found to overlap, the more stringent shall apply. Usage, approximate 4,000 gallons per order per month, for an estimated annual quantity of 48,000 gallons (primary use will be at the Doswell Water Treatment Plant (DWTP). A. Industry Standards: 1. ANSI/AWWA B403-03 (most recent revision). 2. ANSI/NSF 60, Drinking Water Treatment Chemicals-Health Effects. Note - All bids must include proof of certification with the ANSI/NSF 60 standard.
