1. The successful bidder must either be on the VDOT Materials Section Qualified Wood Treatment Plants list, Materials List #45, or furnish written documentation with the order that all the wood furnished in this bid was treated at one of the plants on this list. The approved CCA wood treatment plant list is attached to this bid. The successful bidder must complete Attachment D. 2. All lumber supplied shall be CCA treated. Pressure treatment shall conform to the requirements of AWPA UC4B. Salt (sodium) treated timbers and/or creosote timbers WILL NOT be accepted. 3. All lumber supplied shall conform to Section 236 (wood products) of the 2020 VDOT Road and Bridge Specifications or most current version, and the AASHTO M168 requirements. 4. Sawn material, dressed, shall be certified by the mill as to grade and shall be grade marked in accordance with the grading rules and basis provisions of the American Lumber Standards (PS-20-70) by a lumber grading or inspection bureau or agency approved by the Department. If dressed, grade mark shall be applied after dressing.
