Specifications include, but are not limited to: ➢ Work hours are from 7 pm to 4 am, Monday through Sunday. o On average 170 -175 buses and paratransit vehicles must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected daily. ➢ Holiday work hours are from 7 pm to 4 am. o On average 100 buses and paratransit vehicles must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected daily. ➢ Holidays include New Year’s Day; Martin Luther King Day; President’s Day; Easter; Memorial Day; Juneteenth; Fourth of July; Labor Day; Indigenous People’s Day; Thanksgiving, and Christmas. ➢ Weekends: At the beginning of the shift the current shift foreman will supply contractor with a list of all active buses and paratransit vehicles that went out for the day. GRTC supervisor for the shifts will keep contractor informed of any extra buses or paratransit vehicles that were not on the list but were active along as ones coming out of the shop going back into service. ➢ The work that is required includes sweeping, mopping, disinfecting and sanitizing of handrails, straps, seats, wheelchair restraint straps, pull cords, doors, steering wheel, and dashboard of the interior of GRTC’s fleet daily. o Contractor responsible for final sweeping of buses and paratransit vehicles. No trash is to be swept into the parking lot. o Contractor responsible for mopping of the buses and paratransit vehicles to include the driver’s area. Mop solution must be changed every 3 to 4 vehicles and mopheads rinsed with the solution change. Mop heads should be changed as often as needed. o Disinfectant spray will be used to sanitize all handrails, front to back and top to bottom; pull cords and wheelchair restraints; tops of seats; driver’s area to include steering wheel and dash areas. ▪ Spray will only be applied to cleaning rags; it is not to be sprayed on any interior surfaces.
