The City requires a Bumper Car amusement ride for the Spring Eggstravaganza event to be held on Saturday, March 29, 2025, by the City of Newport News Parks and Recreation Department. • Contractor shall provide 16 Bumper Cars: each car seats two riders. • Contractor shall provide the necessary equipment to construct an 1,800 sq. ft. bumper car arena. o Ride shall be operational for the entirety of the event. o Ride shall be free of charge to the public. o Ride shall be suitable for children and adults. • Contractor shall have access to the event site on Friday, March 28, 2025, for delivery and set up. • Contractor shall tear down and remove the rides at the conclusion of the event at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 29, 2025. • Contractor shall provide sufficient staffing to safely manage the operation of the rides, their set up and tear down/removal. • Contractor shall be responsible for maintaining the functionality, usability, and safety of the rides for the duration of the event. • Contractor shall adhere to the City of Newport News’ insurance requirements (attached in section 4) and provide all insurance documents prior to commencing work. • Contractor shall submit a copy of any form's customers are required to sign.
