Specifications include, but are not limited to: Bulk Ice Control Rock Salt. The intent of this Invitation for Bid is to enter into an agreement to provide bulk ice controlrock salt treated with anti-caking agent, on an as needed basis to be used by theDepartment of Public Works Road Maintenance Division for snow removal operations. TheCity anticipates using approximately 3,000 tons per year; however, actual quantitiespurchase will be determined by local weather conditions. Salt shall be treated with an anti-caking agent and shall conform to VirginiaDepartment of Transportation (VDOT) specifications. Quality of materials must be as specified; the City reserves the right torefuse shipment if the standard of quality does not meet expectations.Determination of quality shall be at the sole discretion of the City
