The intent of this Invitation for Bid is to enter into an agreement to provide bulk icecontrol rock salt, to be treated with anti-caking agent, on an as needed basis for a one(1) year period for snow removal operations. The City anticipates using approximately3,000 tons per year, however, this will be determined by local weather conditions. Salt shall be treated with an anti-caking agent and shall conform toVirginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) specifications.B.Prices for material shall include delivery. No additional delivery chargeswill be allowed.C.Quality of materials must be as specified; the City reserves the right torefuse shipment if the standard of quality does not meet expectations.Determination of quality shall be at the sole discretion of the City
