Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Dinwiddie County Broadband Authority is seeking the services from a qualified offeror to design, implement, operate and maintain a “fee-for-service” broadband network for Dinwiddie County. The solution offered shall be a “fiber-to-the-home” solution, and it is strongly preferred that at the end of the project, there is universal broadband coverage in Dinwiddie County. The project shall focus on unserved or underserved areas. Unserved areas have coverage of less than 10/1 and underserved areas have coverage of less than 25/3. Offerors may partner with other Offerors to ensure that grant financial resources are efficiently used to achieve universal coverage in Dinwiddie County, and Offerors may submit joint applications.
