Specifications include, but are not limited to: a. The consultant will conduct at least two (2) focus groups in each locality in coordination with local partners and County staff, asking a series of structured questions that elucidate the experiences community members have had with broadband service and digital technologies. b. Consultant will record and transcribe focus groups and provide analysis of prevalent themes gleaned from the focus groups. c. The consultant will also conduct structured interviews with principals from community organizations referred by locality partners to gauge the barriers to digital access faced by their communities and clients. d. The consultant will conduct the above in five (5) locality partners and provide a summary of findings across all engagement. e. It is anticipated that the project will take approximately 10 weeks to complete, with an anticipated start date of early September 2024. f. Summary of Anticipated Community Engagement activities to include Event Planning and support: i. 10 - 15 focus groups (~1 hr. each) ii. 6 – 10 interviews (~1 hr. each) g. The consultant will provide an electronic Summary report in PDF form, submitted by e-mail, to the Broadband Accessibility and Affordability Office.
