The Contractor shall furnish and deliver as a lump sum BMGS-1 Bridge Rails, Posts and assembly parts as listed and shown in the attached standard detail (BMGS-1), in accordance with the Virginia Department of Transportation 2020 Road and Bridge Specifications to include but not limited to Sections 407, 408 and 505. Posts and plates shall conform to ASTM A572 Grade 50 unless noted otherwise. Structural tubes shall conform to ASTM A500 Grade B. High Strength bolts shall conform to ASTM F3125 Grade A325. All steel shall be hot dip galvanized. 1. Seventeen (17) BMGS-1 bridge rail posts and brackets with all associated hardware. 2. Seventeen (17) sets of concrete inserts and cast in place items with all associated hardware 3. 62’6” Linear feet of MGS Rail system (12’6” Length per section) with Back Up plates and associated hardware
