Specifications include, but are not limited to: The first IFB is for five units consisting of approximately 72 acres on the Blacks Creek Timber Sale, and the second IFB consists of a 40-acre unit on the Moore’s Creek State Forest. The timber sale area contains approximately 72 acres in five (5) units (1,2,3,4 & 5) within the Blacks Creek Drainage, consisting of pine and hardwood timber (see Attachment B). All sawtimber and standing pulpwood is estimated and scheduled for harvest cutting under this contract except those designated for leave with a band of orange paint at DBH or those marked with a pink or white paint band signifying Streamside Management Zones or special wildlife trees to be left where extra care is required. The timber sale boundary is marked with orange vertical paint stripes. Ingress and egress shall be only through Forest Service Roads 3200, 3086, 3086A, and 3536 as shown on Attachment B. All logging activity will be confined to the sale area and any logging debris accumulated outside the sale area, including the reserve strips, must be pulled back inside the sale area. Stump height shall not exceed 10 inches above mineral soil. All sawtimber and pulpwood sized trees to remove within the sale area have been cruised.
