A. BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION SOFTWARE 1. NVCCPD is looking for a Contractor that is able to provide a cloud-based software system in which all applicant background information can be uploaded, recorded, and stored. 2. Each applicant should have access to their own online file documenting all record requests from NVCCPD. The software application should enable both the applicant and NVCCPD to keep track of all uploaded documents and any outstanding background records that still need to be submitted. 3. The software application should alert NVCCPD when an applicant has successfully uploaded all of the requested documents. 4. Contractor(s) shall ensure that they are fully compliant with the Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Security Policy as mandated by the U.S. Department of Justice. A Digital Copy of the Federal CJIS Security Policy can be found on the FBI website at https://www.fbi.gov/file-repository/cjis/cjis_security_policy_v5-9_20200601.pdf/view 5. An electronic Personal History Questionnaire (PHQ) should be included in the software application for an applicant to fill out and should allow for NVCCPD to review once an applicant has completed the PHQ. 6. Once an applicant completes the electronic PHQ,the applicant shall be unable to change any oftheir PHQ answers unless notifying the Contractor of their wish to do so. I
