It shall be the bidder’s responsibility to ensure all goods and services needed to render the items below are included in their bid. Bidder shall include all materials not supplied by VSP. Bidder shall also incorporate the delivery and pickup of the items referenced below. 1. The Contractor shall furnish all framing supplies and materials necessary for specified framing and engraving products and services for the Department of State Police on an as needed basis. The Virginia State Police will provide the certificates used with certain framing jobs. It will be the contractor's responsibility to pickup the certificates. 2. The Contractor shall have the capability to lay out the job, cut/join the frames and dry mount a certificate using horizontal layout with regular single strength glass and backed with one piece of corrugated board. 3. A significant portion of the framed work shall require engraving. Silver metal, 3” tall x 4” wide. Shall be engraved, etched or printed with a person’s name and title/rank, which will be provided with each purchase order. The Metal Plate shall be adhered to the plaque and located approximately 1-1/8” up from the bottom of the plaque. (See Attachment A Lot 1). The contractor shall proofread for obvious errors. This information shall then be provided to the engraver. After the engraving is complete, the plaque shall be thoroughly checked for errors prior to mounting. 4. Contractor shall create blue epoxy die, metal cast seal, and the pressed medallion for use. The contractor shall provide sketches of the Medallion 3.5” Virginia State Seal. The Virginia State Seal and the custom blue epoxy color shall be submitted to VSP for approval before production of the mold. (See Attachment A Lot 1) 5. The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, and parts to frame, engrave, and mount all certificates and plaques, for special requests (not listed under the specifications) on an as-needed basis. The requested quote price of the special requests shall be detailed to included labor, equipment, frame, etc. 6. If there is any deviation from the Specifications listed herein, the Contractor shall submit full product information of the changes. Approval shall be needed before work is completed. 7. Orders may be required to be completed on short notice and contractor must be able to furnish engraving, mounting, and framing on an emergency basis usually within a week. The typical completion timeline is within 4 to 6-weeks
