The Virginia Department of Forestry (DOF) is seeking a vendor to furnish and deliver printed shipping boxes. Shipping boxes shall be direct printed in black using the DOF supplied prinƟng plates. Bidders must have three years’ experience successfully fulfilling direct prinƟng orders. Bidders must have the appropriate prinƟng equipment to fulfill this order. Requirements: 1) Box requirements: a) Awarded contractors shall supply and print the specified boxes. b) Joints shall be stitched. c) Box grade shall be 200C; d) Sizes shall be 6”x6”x22” and 6”x6”40”; e) Box coating shall be: 40H MICH-CO-IN; f) Quantities: (boxes); i. 2,000 ea. Size 6”x6”x22”; ii. 3,000 ea. Size 6”x6”x40”; 2) Printing Requirements: a) Boxes shall be direct printed – single color: black; b) Printing shall be centered, front and back and centered on top or as directed by the Contract Administrator. (See pictures below.) c) Awarded Contractor shall supply proofs, graphic or printed, upon request, prior to the full print run. d) Awarded Contractor shall return the DOF owned prinƟng plates with delivery of order. DOF shall maintain ownership of the prinƟng plates. e) Awarded Contractor shall reimburse DOF for the full cost to reproduce the prinƟng plates in the event of their loss while under the contractor’s control
