Trainers will provide athletic training and sports medicine services five days each week for eachhigh school. Services are required during all home games and during practices on days that gamesare not held. Services are required for all away football games.B. Trainers will be available starting August 1 for football and volleyball practices. Practices typicallylast two or three hours and are usually scheduled between the hours of 3:00 pm and 7:00 pm eachweekday afternoon until school starts (Tuesday following Labor Day).C. Trainers will provide services starting not later than 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. On dayswhen no game is scheduled, trainers will be present for game practices until 5:30 p.m.D. Services will continue through the athletic seasons; typically concluding in mid May of each year.No services will be required during the winter (Christmas) or spring breaks. The winter break istypically two weeks; spring break is one week and occurs immediately before or after Easter.E. When games are held at the school, trainers will be present for the duration of the game.F. Trainers will monitor practices, provide initial screening of injuries, and maintain a system to trackand report injuries
