I. PURPOSE The Wise County School Board is soliciting an architectural firm to design a new storage warehouse for our school division and to maintain involvement throughout the construction of the building. Proposals will used to establish a contract through competitive negotiations for professional architectural and engineering services. II. PROJECT DESCRIPTION The division warehouse will need to received, store, organize and distribute various products for the schools and campuses in Wise County. The size of the warehouse would be determined by input from Division personnel and budget requirements. The building would include bathroom space, climate control systems, network capability, security systems, and fire detection systems. III. SCOPE OF SERVICE The architect will assist the Division in developing a modern warehouse space. This will include development of site and building plans for the selected site, assist in the bid process to obtain a qualified contractor and provide construction management through the final occupancy of the building.
