Isle of Wight County Schools is interested to receive offers from qualified firms to develop a Comprehensive Classification and Compensation Study. The following are general requirements for the consultant selected to provide services as outlined in the Statement of Needs: 1. Attend an initial meeting with key IWCS staff to discuss the study in general, as well as specifics regarding the study methodology, the process and tasks to be performed, the scope of the study, and the dedication of key personnel to these tasks and accessibility of the Contractor’s point of contact. 2. Establish a comprehensive timeline for completion of all tasks included herein. 3. Provide regular progress reports to the Chief Financial Officer or designee at agreedupon intervals. 4. Develop a detailed plan for implementing the recommended changes to the current Position Classification and Compensation Plan, pay structure, classification programs, and related policies. The plan should include, at minimum, communications, implementation procedures/steps, and comprehensive training. The plan should be intuitive and easy-to-understand. 5. Deliver a detailed implementation plan with associated cost estimates to implement and recommend applicable policies, procedures, and guidelines for ongoing effective salary administration and pay plan maintenance. 6. Solicit feedback from IWCS leadership on recommendations and address any questions or concerns in writing; make modifications to recommendations, as needed, based on feedback. 7. Deliver a final report to the Chief Financial Officer detailing all the analysis, findings, and recommendations, including cost implications of the classification and compensation study recommendations.
