Arlington County will receive bids for the provision of annual on-site and in-shop aerial crane/bucket truck American National Standards Institute (ANSI) inspections, dielectric testing, and repair services. I. Annual Inspections Vehicle inspections include aerial unit inspection, isolated control handle inspection, jib crane test inspection, and/or dielectric inspection. The County shall schedule annual crane and aerial bucket truck inspections to be conducted on-site at the Arlington Equipment Bureau, located at 2701 S. Taylor St. Arlington, VA 22206. II. Repair Services The Contractor will provide both in-shop (at the Contractor's facility) and on-site (at the Arlington County Equipment Bureau) repair services to any crane or bucket truck. Repair services may include replacing hydraulic hoses, replacing emergency lighting, repairing bucket truck and crane controls, as well as any other repair needed to pass inspection. On-site and in-shop repair services will be provided at an hourly labor rate as indicated on the bid form. On-site repair services will be provided at the request of the County.For in-shop services, the Contractor shall pick up the equipment needing service from the Arlington County Equipment Bureau, as well as deliver the equipment back to the Arlington County Equipment Bureau when services are completed.. At the convenience of the County, the County may deliver vehicles to the Contractor's facility for service.
