The following insurance coverages and limits are required in order to provide goods, services, construction, professional and non-professional services to Henrico County general government agencies and Henrico County Public Schools. These requirements are specific to this procurement and may or may not be the same for future requests. Please be sure and review the Additional Requirements Section The Successful Bidder/Offeror shall carry Public Liability Insurance in the amount specified below, including contractual liability assumed by the Successful Bidder/Offeror, and shall deliver a Certificate of Insurance from carriers licensed to do business in the Commonwealth of Virginia and that is representative of the insurance policies. The Certificate shall show that the policy has been endorsed to add the County of Henrico and Henrico County Public Schools named as an additional insured for the Commercial General Liability coverage. The certificate must not show in the description of operations section that it is issued specific to any bid, job, or contract. The coverage shall be provided by a carrier(s) rated not less than “A- ” with a financial rating of at least VII by A.M. Best or a rating acceptable to the County. In addition, the Successful Bidder/Offeror shall agree to give the County a minimum of 30 days prior notice of any cancellation or material reduction in coverage.
