A. SCOPE OF WORK: The Contractor shall provide all necessary labor, supervision, vehicles, fuel, equipment, smart device for tracking app usage, traffic control, tools, supplies and incidentals as necessary to remove and properly dispose of dead animal carcasses on VDOT owned roadways and right of ways. It shall be the Contractor’s responsibility to coordinate with approved local landfills and/or other disposal facilities for the legal disposal of animal carcasses and to assume all fees associated with disposal. Bidder shall indicate on Attachment C, Vendor Qualification/Equipment Inventory Certification Form the method of disposal and the disposal location to be utilized. VDOT reserves the right to reject any bid that does not have an approved disposal location. VDOT reserves the right to verify the validity of the approved disposal location prior to award.
